Charles “Sonny” West passed away Wednesday, Aug. 12, 2020 at the age of 82.
A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at Moss Service Funeral Home Friday, Aug. 14, 2020 at 2 p.m. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. until service time. Burial will follow at New Hope #2 Cemetery.

He was preceded in death by his parents Buford and Emma Bolzle West and his wife Mary Sims.
Survivors include his step-daughters Shelia Bogard and Cathy Watts; sisters Mary Nell West Todd, Elizabeth West (Van) Johnson and Linda West Sullivan; nephews Christopher Johnson and Craig Johnson; great-nieces Catlin Johnson and Raven Johnson; great-nephew; Erin Johnson great-great-nephew Rayland Chandler; and a host of extended family and friends.
