Steven Rick Barton, 68, of Haleyville entered into rest Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at UAB Hospital.
Mr. Barton was born in Haleyville, Alabama Feb. 24, 1952.
He was a truck driver for Wal-Mart.
The family will receive friends Sunday, Sept. 20, 2020 from 2-4 p.m. at the Piney Grove Community Center in Brilliant, Alabama, where a memorial service will follow at 4 p.m. Brother Dewayne Smith will officiate.
Steven is survived by his wife Carol Barton; children Angela (Bobby) Walters, Jennifer Jones, James Michael Maher and Stephanie (Corey) Giesige; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brother Carly William (Sharon) Barton; sister Cathy (Greg) Glass; a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Hollis Barton and Josie Elvia Ward Barton and brother Hollis Larry Barton.
