Chamber’s 73rd Annual Meeting & Gala Will Have “Downton Abbey” Theme

So get ready to step back in time with a vintage setting that will feature The Cigar Room and The Lotus Club!”

CULLMAN – The Cullman Area Chamber of Commerce's 73rd Annual Meeting & Gala, "Good Leaders Serve," is scheduled for Thursday, March 3 at the Brown Stone Centre at Stone Bridge Farms. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. with the program beginning at 6 p.m. The Post Party will take place from 8-10 p.m.

“This year our guest speaker is Mr. Peter Good, who has spent most of his career in the hospitality industry,” said Chamber President Leah Bolin. “The main focus of his presentation will be the quality of service that great leaders provide and how one’s service to their community and brand combine together to create the reputation of their business.”

The event will celebrate the Chamber’s accomplishments under outgoing Chamber Chair Jason Grimmett's leadership over the past year and kick off a new year of programs and activities for 2016-17. The program will feature the presentations of the annual Emma Marie Eddleman Citizen of the Year Award, the Lucile Galin Public Service Award, the Small Business of the Year Award and the Ambassador of the Year Award.
