CULLMAN, Ala. – The Cullman County Animal Shelter’s Donna Ruttkay shares The Cullman Tribune Pet of the Week:
Sally is a small Beagle who’s around 1.5 years old. She’s a laid-back, low- to medium-energy pet who’s still athletic and may have been in training as a hunting companion in her younger days. She enjoys the outdoors and is skilled on her leash.
Sally has the makings of a great therapy, companion, reading or hiking dog.
Discount doggie!
Sally has already been spayed, so her adoption fee will be greatly reduced. Contact the shelter for details.
Animal shelter staff and volunteers work with their dogs to make sure they are accustomed to being around people, walking on a leash and practicing good behavior. Several of the shelter’s canine friends have even been “hired” to work as therapy and special needs service dogs.
Please consider adopting, to give a rescued pet a chance at a happy and healthy life.
