Betty Sue Patterson, 80, of Addison entered into rest Thursday, June 11, 2020 at Cullman Regional Medical Center.
Betty was born May 28, 1940 in Jasper, Alabama.
She was a member of Houston Congregational Christian Church for the last six years. She enjoyed gardening and cooking, but most of all, she loved her family, especially her grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held Monday, June 15, 2020 at 2 p.m. at Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery in Addison. Brother Bobby Smith will officiate.
Betty is survived by her daughter Sherry Harper and her husband Wayne; son Terry Patterson and his wife Karen; grandchildren Shana Harper, Haley Harper and Nathan Patterson; great-grandson Raylan Gobble; one great-granddaughter on the way; special niece Linda Gilliland; and a host of other nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Lee Mark Patterson; parents Archie and Lora Pratt Gilliland; brothers Bobby, Leborn, and Lee Ray Gilliland; sister Fannie Mae Burleson; sisters-in-law Dean Gilliland, Eleanor Gilliland and Jean Gilliland; brother-in-law Cletus Burleson; and niece Anita Gilliland.
