Mrs. Ruby Nell (Pugh) Lay, 86, of Hanceville, Alabama passed away Wednesday, June 10, 2020. Mrs. Lay was born April 14, 1934 to Riley and Dera Mae Pugh in Alabama.
Mrs. Lay is survived by son-in-law Christopher (Debbie) Howard.
Mrs. Lay was preceded in death by her husband Ottis Evon Lay; daughter Debbie Howard; parents Riley and Dera Mae Pugh; sisters Ethel Williams, Willie Butler, and Lillian Pugh; and brothers Leroy Pugh, J.C. Pugh, Riley Pugh Jr., and Frank Pugh.
A special thank you to an extended family friend Cindy Rhodes for all of the love and time you gave to Mrs. Lay. Also to Dr. Hoover for your care and concern for Mrs. Lay.
A visitation for Mrs. Lay will be held Saturday, June 13, 2020 from 10:30-11 a.m. at Moss-Service Funeral Home. A celebration of life funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. An interment for Mrs. Lay will be at Arkadelphia Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers are Scottie Talley, Will Swann, Wyatt Swann, Wesley Benefield, Gary Howard and Tim Kritter.
