Funeral services for Margie Okalene Tilley will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 11, 2020 at Cullman Funeral Home. The Reverend Jerry Lake will officiate the service. The interment will be at New Hope #1 Cemetery. Cullman Funeral Home is honored to serve the Tilley family.
Mrs. Tilley passed away June 7, 2020 at UAB Hospital in Birmingham. She was born May 28, 1942 to Ottis James Reese and Mertis Elizabeth Hudson.
Mrs. Tilley was preceded in death by her parents; grandson Nathan Overton; son-in-law Jimmy Overton; and sister Sandra Reese.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Danny Tilley; son Kalen (Mary) Tilley; daughter Rhonda (Jeff) Bates; grandchildren Jodi (Jeremy) Hopper, Wesley (Malorie) Campbell, Blake (Danielle) Overton, Kaleb (Katherine) Tilley, Travis (Caycee) Overton, Ethan (Haley) Tilley, and Zachery Tilley; and great-grandchildren Brody Hopper, Bryce Hopper, Brittlee Hopper, Blayklee Overton, Hayes Overton, Houston Overton, Oaklee Overton, Kason Tilley, Cooper Tilley, Arley Overton, Addi Reese Tilley, Noah Rhett Campbell, and Kollins Harper Tilley.
Visitation will be Wednesday, June 10, 2020, from 5:30-8 p.m. at Cullman Funeral Home.
