LIMESTONE COUNTY, Ala. – A Cullman man was killed Friday in a wreck on Interstate 65 in Limestone County. Alabama State Troopers identified the victim as Joshua Lee Loyd, 23. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to a media release, the crash happened at 1 a.m. May 29 near mile marker 351. Troopers said Lloyd was in a 2012 Nissan Sentra that collided with a 2014 Kia Sorento traveling north in the southbound lanes of I-65.
Jeffrey Lynn Wilkerson, 58, of Florence, was driving the Kia.
Nothing further is available as Troopers continue to investigate.
