Lura Ruby Walker Pearson Hunt, 97, of Double Springs entered into rest Friday, May 22, 2020 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
She was born Feb. 16, 1923 in Clark County, Alabama
Visitation will be Sunday, May 24, 2020 from 2-4 p.m. at Pine Grove Church of God in Double Springs where the service will be held at 4 p.m. Brother T.J. Millican will officiate. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Double Springs.
Lura is survived by her children Patricia Ramey, Sandra (Ricky) Crowe and Clifton Pearson; grandchildren Monica (Steve) Jacques, Richard (Caroline) Crowe, Lisa (Slade) Trimm, Wes (Tina) McCain, Daniel (Christina) Pearson, Travis Harrant and Holli Gilbert; siblings Dorothy Davis, Marvin (Barbara) Walker, Frank (Ann) Walker, Johnny (Carol) Walker and Jackie (Margie) Walker; numerous great- and great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents William and Alma Walker; first husband Cleo Pearson and second husband John Hunt; sisters Myra Jean Hare, Roberteen Hawk, Virginia Williams and Rosa Nell Williamson; and brother Farris Walker.
