CULLMAN, Ala. – Two people are being held in the Cullman County Detention Center without bond after being charged with first-degree burglary. Authorities say Jessica Leann Hess, 35, of Jasper and Cory Anthony Shows, 18, of Parrish were arrested Thursday, May 21.

According to a media release from the Cullman County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO), “Deputies and investigators were made aware of an assault at a local campground last week by the two adult suspects (sic), as well as other juveniles.”

The CCSO said investigators recovered a video of the assault from social media that shows the suspects entering a camper and assaulting a juvenile. Warrants were obtained after consultation with the Cullman County District Attorney’s Office.
