Millardean “Deanie” Denson, 86, of Arley entered into rest Sunday, May 17, 2020 at Cullman Regional Medical Center.
Deanie was born Jan. 22, 1934 in Winston County, Alabama.
She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister. Deanie attended Meek High School and was a member of Liberty Baptist Church for more than 70 years. She enjoyed her Wednesday Bible study and Women’s Sunday School class. She was an avid Alabama football fan and loved to garden flowers, especially lilies and roses, and vegetables.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 19, 2020 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at Liberty Baptist Church, where the service will be held at 1 p.m. Bro. Greg Dollar will officiate. Burial will follow in Liberty Baptist Cemetery in the Helicon Community.
Deanie is survived by her son Shane Denson and his wife Sharon; grandson Logan Denson; granddaughter Lyndsey Denson; sisters Vicelee “Lee” Grooms and her husband Gordon and Jean Black and her husband Jimmie; and a host of beloved nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents Wilson and Eunice Morton; her husband Howard Denson; and sister Glois Woodard.
