Patricia Diane Shelton, 75, of Cullman passed away at her residence Thursday, May 7, 2020.
Diane was born to Richard and Drexal Martin Clifton Dec. 15, 1944.
She was a loving daughter, wife, mother and grandmother. She was a diehard Auburn fan; she loved all animals and was very active in Relay for Life. Diane was described as a world class yard saler; she thoroughly enjoyed going to yard sales.
A private family graveside service will be held Saturday, May 9, 2020 at 1 p.m. at Good Hope Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in her memory to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, the Cullman County Animal Shelter or ASPCA.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents Joseph and Hettie Clifton and her father Richard Clifton.
Survivors include her husband Ed Shelton; mother Drexal Clifton; daughters Marsha (Rodney) Schlueter, Tracy (Jeff) Powers and Karen Blanks; sisters Pam Mitchell, Sherry Campbell and Sheila Connelly; brother Wayne White; eight grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
