HUNTSVILLE — The Alabama Department of Transportation advises motorists that contractor Wiregrass Construction will temporarily close the inside southbound lane of U.S. 31 north of Olive Street in Cullman for drainage work Monday, March 30, through Friday, April 10.
The drainage work is in preparation for nearly $1.3 million in improvements to the U.S. 31 and Olive Street intersection, including construction of extensions to the southbound right turn lane and northbound acceleration lane and installation of a traffic signal.
Please drive with caution in the work zone. Reduce speed and be prepared to merge.
