CULLMAN, Ala. – Eleven people were arrested Sunday night, after officers with the Cullman Police Department (CPD) observed them taking donated items outside The Foundry Thrift Store in the South Cullman Shopping Center.
According to the CPD, the business reported that donated items left outside were being stolen, prompting a close patrol of the building.
“The officers did a great job,” said Capt. Gene Bates. “They showed good initiative by taking the information they received, following up and making these arrests. They knew something was going on, and they did something about it.”
