It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, Inez McIntosh, 93, Jan. 26, 2020. She was from the Simcoe-Antioch community.
She was born May 9, 1926, to the late Clifford and Maddie Lee Newton.
She is survived by daughter Velvie Perry of Priceville; daughter Sarah “Polly” (Larry) Parker of Cullman; brother Charles Newton of Kentucky; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband Emmitt McIntosh; son Eugene McIntosh; son-in-law Glen Perry; and grandson Shane Perry.
She was a loving and much-loved “Granny” to her family and friends.
Ms. McIntosh requested a private service and burial at Simcoe Baptist Cemetery.
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family.
