The cast and friends of Cullman’s original musical/comedy “The One-Liner American Diner” (on the left: Rodney Basenburg, Concetta Lovoy Kreps, Hannah Crider and Justin Weygand) enjoyed a rawtha posh but loff-filled dinner with Brits (on the right: Kate and Duncan Smith, Nick and Jackie Webster, far left) so the performers could polish their British accents. After plenty of “rain in Spain falls mainly on the plain” and “Downton Abbey” laughter it was “pip pip and cheerio” as all left for an evening of holiday cabaret at Birming-HAM’s (not Birming-um’s) Virginia Samford Theatre. “The One-Liner American Diner” previews in Cullman at the Empty Bowls fundraiser supporting Cullman Caring for Kids at First United Methodist Church, Monday, Feb. 17 from 4-7 p.m. (Ben South, standing)
