Funeral services for James Durward Griffin, age 99 of Cullman, will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at
with Ray Lathem and Eric Martin officiating. Interment will be in Welti Cemetery.
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Griffin passed away on Saturday, December 19, 2015 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born August 20, 1916 to the late Byrd Martin Griffin and Josie Emily Lambert Griffin.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Edna Barbara Teichmiller Griffin; and five sisters, Mamie, Maggie, Merle, Melvell and Mava.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Jo Griffin; two sons, Charles Durward Griffin and James Gregory Griffin; two daughters, Sandra Lee Knighten and Janis Faye Berend; six grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Tuesday from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
