Graveside Funeral Services for Christine Mildred Wilson, 86 of Cullman, will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at Jones Chapel Cemetery in Cullman Alabama.
Visitation will be Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.
Mrs. Wilson passed away on Sunday, December 20, 2015. She was born August 25, 1929 to parents Carl and Minnie O’Rear in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. She moved to Cullman as a young girl, attended West Point High School, and graduated from Saint Bernard College. She was a beloved elementary school teacher in the Cullman County School System for over 20 years. One of her greatest joys was watching her granddaughter, Amy, grow up.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Milford Wilson; her two brothers, Mack O’Rear and Charles O’Rear, all of Cullman.
Survivors include her son, Timothy Michael Wilson (Suzanne), one granddaughter, Amy Wilson, and a number of nieces and nephews.
We would like to thank all the nurses at Summerford Nursing Home, who cared for her in the last years of her life. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the Summerford Nursing Home Activity Fund.
