James (Jim) Thomas Osborne, 77, passed away Nov. 21, 2019.
Jim was born in Cullman, AL Aug. 18, 1942 to Wilburn and Charlotte (Basch) Osborne who preceded him in death.
He was the youngest son and one of eight children. On Oct. 1, 1962 he married Jan (Bone) Osborne of Cullman, AL. They have been married for 57 years.
Jim was an accomplished salesman whose career promotions moved him around the country from Greenville, to Pittsburgh, to Los Angeles, and then to Atlanta where he retired as the executive vice president of sales for Curtis 1000. In retirement, Jim moved back to Cullman, where he worked at various car dealerships: a hobby combining his love of people, cars and sales.
Jim and Jan had two daughters, Jamie (Davin) Miller and Janna (Donald) Newberry. Jim was an adoring husband, loving father and doting grandfather to nine grandkids: Bryden, Colden, Rhodes, Leighton, Gavin, Ashlyn, Aeryn, Laney and Harper. He was an avid Auburn fan, enjoyed hunting and fishing, and loved his family. He was a true people person who never met a stranger.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Jan; his two daughters Jamie and Janna; nine grandchildren; brothers Jack, Freddie and Charles; sisters Jane, Marie, Helen and Pat; and many nieces and nephews.
War Eagle!
