Seating is limited.

We are extremely happy to welcome our entertainment this year, Stella Parton, the sister of Dolly Parton,” said a statement from the Cullman Farm-City Committee. “She will be sharing stories of growing up as a child of a farmer and will be singing for us as well. Where else can you get a steak dinner and entertainment for $20?”

Committee member Tonja Grace stated, “We are celebrating 200 years of farming in Alabama, and this year’s theme is ‘Keep Alabama Growing.’ Door prizes will be given away, and we have some great ones this year. It is an honor to live in Cullman, Alabama and what better time to celebrate a farmer than right here before Thanksgiving?”

Farm-City Outstanding Family of the Year, poster contest, other awards to be presented

The committee alternates each year between a Farm or City Family for Farm-City Outstanding Family of the Year, and recognizes the family for its hard work farming, supporting farming or community volunteering. The winning family will be announced at the banquet.

According to the committee, more than 300 students entered the Farm-City poster contest and the Top 6 will be awarded their prizes at banquet. The Top 25 entries will be on display on the second floor of the Cullman County Courthouse. Awards for the FCCLA, FFA and 4-H outstanding members will also be presented.
