CULLMAN, Ala. – The Cullman Regional Foundation will host its annual Dr. Herman C. Ensor

Lights of Love Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony Thursday, Dec. 5 at 5:30 p.m.

This year’s event is dedicated to the memory of Amy Drake, who passed away in September at the age of 42. Organizers will honor and pay tribute to Drake during the ceremony.

Said Cullman Regional Foundation Executive Director Maria Stanford, “Give a gift of love this holiday season.  For a donation of $20 or more you can place a light on the tree as a tribute for someone special.  We accept donations in memory of or in honor of individuals.

Acknowledgement cards are sent to families and loved ones to let them know of the tribute.”

All community members and contributors are invited to the ceremony, where a presentation of the names of those being honored can be viewed.

Christmas music will be performed by the First United Methodist Sanctuary Choir and Kids Choir.  Also performing will be Dr. Joe Johnson, Dr. David Shupe, Kate Shupe and Ken Simpson.  The evening will conclude with the lighting of the Christmas tree atop the medical center.  Light refreshments will be served during and after the ceremony.

Contributions may be made in memory or in honor of someone special. Gifts received by Monday, Dec. 2 will be included in the special ceremony. Gifts are tax-deductible.
