CULLMAN, Ala. – Rain, sleet or snow, they’ll show! The annual Ho! Ho! Ho! Christmas Show, with classic cars, trucks, motorcycles and everything in-between, will return this Saturday, Nov. 9, from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. at Depot Park. Money raised from the show goes to Christmas Love, a local organization that sponsors children for the holidays, providing toys and necessities for families.
Last year, the show raised $5,116 for Christmas Love.
One of the event organizers, Edith Smith, shared, “The community helps us out a lot.”
Awards will be presented, and dash plaques will be given for the first 100 registered vehicles.
The show was started more than 30 years ago by Larry Harris and Burl Smith, and it is now hosted each year in their memory.
Another event organizer, Sonya Smith Talley, said of Christmas Love, “Christmas Love is an organization through Cullman Caring for Kids and they help give Christmas gifts to kids in Cullman County. They give toys and clothes and things like that to kids who may not have any gifts at Christmas otherwise.”
To enter the show, participants can pay $20 or donate a toy valued at $20.
