CULLMAN, Ala. – The 2-year-old boy who was involved in an accidental shooting Saturday, Oct. 26 in the Johnson’s Crossing community has died. Cullman County Coroner Jeremy L. Kilpatrick confirmed the fatality Wednesday morning. He did not identify the boy.
The incident happened at a residence along the 400 block of County Road 597. The child was transported to an area hospital.
The Cullman County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) said in a statement Saturday night: “We have confirmed through our investigation that the shooting of the juvenile was accidental.”
