The Cullman County Soil and Water Conservation District is pleased to announce the Ryan-Bavar Creek watershed has been approved through the Alabama Department of Environmental Management (ADEM) for 319 cost share. Incentive payments for best management practices will be made to qualifying farmers who live in the project area.
Examples of practices included fencing, heavy use areas, waste storage facility, watering facility, critical area improvement and pasture planting, etc. Natural Resource Conservation Service’s Environmental Quality Incentive Program rules and regulations apply.
There will be a kick-off for interested persons meeting Nov. 8 at 10 a.m. at Federer’s Fertilizer located at 2471 County Rd 222, Cullman, AL 35057.
