Funeral services for Ethelyn Hampton, 83, of Cullman will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 9, 2019 at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home with Jim Hampton officiating; burial at Welcome Baptist Cemetery.
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Hampton passed away Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2019 at Woodland Village Health Care. She was born June 10, 1936 to Aubrey Sparks and Viola Thompson.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Hubert “Red” Hampton, a daughter-in-law, Mary Francis Oden Hampton, a son-in-law, David Bates, and grandchildren, Jeri Graham, Whitney Bates, and Brady Hampton.
Survivors include her six wonderful children, daughter, Sandra Bates, sons, Danny Hampton, Randy (Jamie) Hampton, Ronnie (Darlene) Hampton, Terry (Jonathan) Hampton, and Phillip (Sandra) Hampton, grandchildren, Christopher (Krystal) Hampton, Shelly Johns, Zurrenda (Chris) Johnson, Valen Hampton, David Bates, Alivia Bates, Candice (Rusty) Brown, Cory (Morgan) Hampton, and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 8 at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home.
