Aubrey “Jerome” Smith of Hanceville, Alabama passed away Sunday, Aug. 25 at the age of 84.
He was born Jan. 29, 1935 to Aubrey and Mabel Johnson Smith. His parents precede him in death along with one son, Craig Smith.
Mr. Smith leaves to cherish his memory his wife: Glenda Wisener Smith; daughters: Sherry (Wayne) Nall and Kimberley (Mark) Underwood; sons: Jeff (Anita) Smith, Christopher (Jennifer) Hunter and Jeffrey (Teresa) Hunter; daughter-in-law: Karen Smith; twelve grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
There will be a visitation for Jerome Smith Tuesday, Aug. 27 at Moss Service Funeral Home from 6-8 p.m. A celebration of Mr. Smith’s life will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. He will lie in state from 9-10 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church. Interment will follow the service in the adjoining cemetery.
