CULLMAN, Ala. – A two-vehicle wreck at U.S. Highway 278 West and County Road 831 Wednesday evening has left one person dead. Cullman County Coroner Jeremy L. Kilpatrick identified the victim as Aura Dequasie, 85, of Cullman.
One person was also injured and airlifted to an area hospital for treatment.
The wreck happened at approximately 7 p.m., shutting down the roadway.
On scene were emergency responders from Logan, West Point and Bethsadia.
Alabama State Troopers will release further details once they are available.
