Randy Michial Britt was born Jan. 23, 1948 and passed away July 9, 2019.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife Brenda Britt, his parents JD and Thessal Britt and an infant sister Brenda Sue.
To have known Randy was a blessing given to many from God. If you were in his presence you knew you were loved, supported and cared for in every way he could make possible. He was man of many hats and talents, some of which included: graduating from Auburn University, the United States Army, the National Security Administration, college professor, police officer and real estate agent where he was a part of and headed many boards and associations.
While he leaves us here without his physical presence we know he will always be with us and has once again been made whole and reunited with our loved ones passed.
Survivors include two daughters Nikki Britt Tankersley and Jennifer Britt; a brother William Thomas (Tommy) Britt, sister-in-law Vera Britt; three grandchildren Shayna Tankersley, Skylar Tankersley and Kayley Hall; nieces and nephews Melissa Britt, Adam Skipper, Lindsey (Jeff) Brannon, Wesley (Katie) Britt, Taylor (Erin) Britt, Justin (Janelle) Britt and a host of great-nieces, great-nephews, family and friends.
Visitation will be Friday (July 12) for family at 5 p.m., and friends and public from 5:30-9 p.m. at Moss Funeral Home. Service will be Saturday (July 13) at11 a.m. at Fairview First Baptist Church in Fairview, AL with burial in the adjoining cemetery where he will join his wife Brenda Britt. He will lie-in-state from 10-11 a.m.
