Fairview home destroyed by fire

FAIRVIEW, Ala. – A home north of Fairview along the 2300 block of County Road 1527 was destroyed by fire early Friday evening.

Early reports indicate the blaze started in an attached garage and spread through the rest of the home.

No injuries were reported to residents or emergency response crews.

Fairview, Baileyton and Gold Ridge Volunteer Fire Departments responded, along with the Cullman County Sheriff’s Office and Cullman EMS.


According to band booster Michelle Watwood, the Fairview High School Band will be accepting donations for the family at 10 a.m. Saturday at the band room. The daughter in the family is a band student. Contact Watwood at 256-531-2548 for more information. (See list below for needed items.)
