Guin Andrews, 83, of Addison, entered into rest Sunday, May 5, 2019 at Folsom Health and Rehab in Cullman.
Mr. Andrews was born on Aug. 28, 1935 in Winston County, Alabama and was a farmer most of his life. He was a member of Enmonfield Baptist Church for 38 years where he served as a deacon. He enjoyed family gatherings, cooking fish and chicken in the forest, and fishing. He was also a coon-hunter. He was known by family and friends as “Winkle and Wink.”
Visitation will be on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 from 1-2 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Addison, Alabama with service to follow at 2 p.m. Brother Gary Driver and Brother Mike Turner will officiate. Burial will follow at Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery in Upshaw.
Mr. Andrews is survived by his sons, Jerry Guin (Meloney) Andrews, and Benny Ray (Brittney) Andrews; daughter, Karen Tucker; brother, Morris (Betty Sue) Andrews; “Paw Paw” to seven grandchildren: Andy Tucker, Dana Andrews, Allen Andrews, Jake Andrews, Jordan Rogers, Bridgett Andrews, and Kyle Denton; and seven great grandchildren: Easton Tucker, McKenzie Andrews, Beckett Andrews, Harley Andrews, Ryder Andrews, Anastasia Rogers, and Jedd Andrews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Magratha Andrews; his parents, John Henry Andrews and Eula Williams Andrews.
