CULLMAN – Today the Cullman County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) located and arrested Bradford Seth Burney, 19 years old of Hanceville, after he escaped from a Winston County Sheriff’s Office patrol car.
Yesterday afternoon, June 29th, 2015, Winston County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO) had detained Mr. Burney in the Addison community in connection to a burglary. After escaping the patrol car a BOLO (Be On Look Out) was received by CCSO advising Mr. Burney could be in route to Cullman County.
Today, June 30th, 2015, CCSO learned a Blue Chevrolet Pickup Truck had been stolen in Cullman County. Mr. Burney was then spotted driving a Blue Chevrolet Pickup Truck. A short time later CCSO Dispatch received all call from a citizen that a Blue Chevrolet Pickup Truck had wrecked in Garden City and CCSO deputies and Hanceville PD responded and took Mr. Burney into custody at the scene.
Mr. Burney is being charged with receiving stolen property 1st and is being held at the Cullman County Detention Center on a $10,000 bond. Additional charges from WCSO may be pending.
