WELTI, Ala. – Welti Elementary School’s Gina Webb has been named the Tony Serra Nissan/Cullman Tribune Principal of the Month for April.  Representatives of both organizations visited Welti Monday morning, accompanied by Cullman County Schools Superintendent Dr. Shane Barnette and Special Projects Coordinator Dr. T.J. Franey, to present Webb a 2019 Nissan Rogue that will be hers to drive for the next month, along with a $100 gift card.

Barnette told The Tribune, “Ms. Webb is an excellent administrator for us.  And she loves the kids, and her heart’s in everything she does; we’re just really excited that she was chosen as Principal of the Month.”

Webb struggled for words as she was notified of the award and checked out the car, but shared afterward, “Any leader is only as good as those who support their efforts.  Without the excellent staff, faculty, students and parents at Welti Elementary, it would be difficult to serve. I am very humbled, honored and grateful to have been selected as Principal of the Month for Cullman County Schools.”
