Rickey Wayne Harris, 63, of Cullman, Alabama entered into rest on April 10, 2019 at his home.
Mr. Harris was born on Nov. 21, 1955 in West Hollywood, Florida. He was a graduate of West Point High School in 1974. Rickey enjoyed coon hunting when he was able and was known by the nicknames “Fat Rat” and “Mule” by his family and friends.
Visitation will be on Saturday, April 13, 2019 from noon until 2 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home Chapel in Addison, Alabama where services will be held at 2pm. Brother Larry Duke will officiate. Burial will be in Sardis No. 2 Baptist Church Cemetery in Addison, Alabama.
Rickey is survived by his wife of 13 years, Belinda Harris; sons, Roman Harris and Colten Smith; daughters, Samantha Collier and her husband Chris, and Breaunah Smith; brothers, Ronald Harris, and Bruce (Hilda) Harris; sisters, Mary (Clyde) Saint, and Bertha Harris; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was known as “Paw Paw” to his two grandchildren, Katie and James Harris.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin Harris and Alice Burk; brothers, Jimmy Harris, and Billy Harris.
