FAIRVIEW – Under new ownership and after renovations, The Hutch Restaurant in Fairview has now re-opened. A grand re-opening celebration took place Friday evening.

Said Josiah Daily, who now owns The Hutch with his wife, Shannon Daily, “It’s good to have something to do for the community. The Hutch has been a staple of this community since it was built in 1979.

Josiah Daily said they plan to bring a few more changes to the restaurant.

Some of the new changes already in place are the color, which is now Fairview Aggie purple, a window to watch the cooks do their magic and a new backside porch which provides more seating.

New plans on the menu include additional food options, the screening in of the new back porch area, which will be heated for winter seating, and live music on Fridays, Saturdays (open to any genre of music) and Sundays. Sunday’s music will include Bluegrass or more family-friendly genres. The Dailys also plan to have curb-side food pickup and online ordering available by some time in December.

The Hutch is located at 30 Wesley Ave. N in Fairview. Find out more at www.facebook.com/hutchrestaurant.
