Fairview Lions holding annual Labor Day Extravaganza Monday

FAIRVIEW – The Fairview Lions Club is holding its annual Labor Day Extravaganza Monday, complete with a parade and car show.

The event will take place on Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 3 at Randall Shedd Community Park on Wesley Avenue in Fairview from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Schedule

7 a.m. Event begins; car show registration

10 a.m. Parade lineup at the girls’ softball field

11 a.m. Parade starts (Roads will be closed at 10:50 a.m.)

2 p.m. Car show awards

According the Fairview Lions:

There will be inflatables for the kids, free health screenings, the LifeSouth Blood Mobile, representatives from the U.S. Army, live music, a Cullman Police helicopter and more.

Vendors are encouraged to set up, even with yard sale items, with anything except ready-to-eat food. Cost of a vendor spot is $10 and can be paid the day of the event.

Concessions will be available.

All proceeds will go to the Fairview Lions Club project fund.

  • Grand marshal
  • Miss Fairala
  • Fairview Band
  • Fairview Youth Football and Cheerleaders
  • Churches
  • Assorted
  • Horses
