Southside 61, Fairview 59  OT (Boys)
Fairview's boys took part in the Bojangles Shootout at Wallace State, taking on Southside. After holding a 31-21 lead with 4:23 remaining in the first half, thanks to seven made threes, the Aggies cooled off from there, but still held a 34-30 lead at the half. They had a nine-point lead with four minutes remaining in the game, but bad free-throw shooting kept Southside in the game and the Panthers came back to tie the game at 57 on a made three with 40 seconds left. The game eventually went to overtime, and a late Aggie turnover proved costly as Southside hit a layup to win the game, 61-59. The Aggies fall to 10-11 on the season and will take on Holly Pond on Thursday instead of Tuesday due to inclement weather.

Colbert County 52, Cold Springs 28 (Girls)
Cold Springs' girls also took part in the Bojangles Shootout, playing Colbert County. PG Camryn Crider came back after missing the last five games with an ankle injury, but C Elizabeth Hill missed the game due to the flu. After staying close to the Lady Indians through one quarter, the Lady Eagles only scored three points in the second period and trailed 23-12 at the half. They did cut it to 34-25 on a Toni West trey in the final quarter, but Cold Springs couldn't get any closer as Colbert County finished on a 18-6 run to take the game, 52-28.
The Lady Eagles fall to 12-10 overall, and will travel to Good Hope on Thursday.

Good Hope 35, Holly Pond 34 (Girls)
Good Hope's girls came away with the win over Holly Pond in a low-scoring, tight affair.  The Lady Raiders improve to 8-16 overall after winning their second straight. The Lady Broncos fall to 4-14 on the season.
