Funeral Services for Billy Ray Baswell, age 79 of Cullman, will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, February 12, 2015 in the Moss-Service Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Cullman City Cemetery, with Bro Steve Britt officiating.

Billy was born on March 15, 1935 in DeKalb County to the late W.E. & Nallie Gregory Baswell; he passed away on Monday, February 9, 2015 at Cullman Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Baswell was employed by the Auburn Extension Service until his retirement with 29 years of service; was a member of North Brook Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his Wife of 59 years – Betty Horton Baswell; one Daughter – Debby (Tim) Meacham; 4 – sons – Steven (Pam) Baswell, Tim Baswell, Mike Baswell & Chris Baswell; one Sister – Becky (Tim) Blakemore; 10 Grandchildren ; 2 – Great-Grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, February 12, 2015 from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m.
