CULLMAN – Ryan Whisenhunt of the Cullman County Animal Shelter introduces us to Ginger, The Tribune’s Pet of the Week.

Ginger is a stray who has been at the shelter since late October. She is a brindle shepherd mix, about 29 pounds. Ginger is attentive, respectful, well-mannered and quick to respond to voice and hand signals.

She thrives when she's with a companion, loves to learn new tasks and is very gentle when taking anything from you. She also walks well on a leash.

Shelter staff say she is a very worthy companion!

“I am about 1-and-a-half years old. My adoption fee is $90 and that includes the following: DHLPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccines, Rabies vaccine, wormer, general exam at the Vet, spay/neuter, microchip, free 45-day health insurance policy issued by 24 Pet Watch (with valid email only) and a free bag of food from Cullman Pet Depot (you must pay sales tax).”

Please consider adopting to give a rescued pet a chance at a happy and healthy life.
