CULLMAN – The Cullman Bowling Center was abuzz with chatter and excitement as St. Bernard, Cullman and East Limestone laced up their bowling shoes for a tri-match on the lanes Thursday evening.
East Limestone was the overall victor with the boys posting a whopping 1,382 while the girls won in convincing fashion with a stout 989. However, there were some impressive scores tallied by St. Bernard and Cullman that kept the match competitive down to the last pin.
"The girls did really well," said St. Bernard coach Tyler Ayers. "I am proud of them. We played East Limestone Tuesday in Madison and we didn't bowl very well."

"The boys were short-handed and fared well with only three bowlers," said Ayers of his Saints.
St. Bernard and Cullman will both finish up the seasons in two weeks in Hartselle in a quad-match.
