CULLMAN – Cullman Regional is proud to announce that Hospice of Cullman County, Inc. recently held its annual MEGA CASH Draw Down, which serves as a fundraiser benefiting indigent patient care. The event raised more than $27,000 for the organization

From an excellent meal provided by Morrison’s Catering to auction items including homemade cakes, therapeutic massages and vacation getaways, the event was filled with fun and excitement. The final three ticket holders, Wanda Walker Clay, Gene Lee and Mike and Rebecca Manning decided to split the $10,000 cash prize prior to the final ticket drawing, which donated $1,500 back to Hospice of Cullman County. Other winners included Rachel Martin, who won $500 and Clara Kent, who won $1,000.

“I want to thank everyone who supported this year’s draw down event,” Hospice of Cullman County, Inc. Board Event Chair, Randy Weathersby said. “We couldn’t do this without the generosity and support of the volunteers and people in our community.”
