Cullman-area students honored at Judson College

MARION – Three Cullman-area students were recognized at Judson College’s recent Honors Convocation. The ceremony honored students who have demonstrated a commitment to excellence in academics and in service at the college.

Freshman Jordan Hooks of Cullman received the Outstanding Student in 100-Level Spanish Award.

Senior Katie Owens of Hanceville was recognized as Outstanding Senior in Biology.

Senior Katie Speer of Vinemont made the Fall 2016 Dean’s List and was awarded the Mary Whitfield Lee Memorial Award, an honor given annually to an outstanding student-athlete at Judson. Speer is a midfielder and forward for the Judson Eagles soccer team, as well as a captain for the Judson Eagles softball team.
