Funeral services for Bobby Fred McCormick, 81, of Cullman will be Monday, January 12, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Moss-Service Funeral Home Chapel, Sam Hollis officiating with burial in Center Grove Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 12:30 p.m. until time of service.
Moss-Service Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. McCormick died Saturday, January 10, 2015 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born February 23, 1933 to Roy and Audie McCormick. He was a lifelong truck driver who received the 1,000,000 miles safety award. He loved his family and friends. He also loved to fish and play Billiards. He always had the best looking yard in the neighborhood.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Robert Keith McCormick; a sister, Opal Magnuson; and a brother Hubert McCormick.
Survivors include his wife, Eloise Bentley McCormick; daughters, Rhonda (Charles) Vaughn and Sharon (Joe) Tucker; brother, Buford McCormick; grandchildren, Bentley and Weston Callahan and Zion Tsang; and a host of extended family members.
The family requests donations be made to the Eastside Baptist Church building fund.
Pallbearers will be Bentley and Weston Callahan, Zion Tsang, Marvin Jones, Cal Alred and Ricky Lovvern. Honorary pallbearers will be W.R. Buckelew and James Kilgore.
