Funeral services for Albert D. Helms, 67, of Hanceville will be held on Thursday, January 8, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel; Doug Pitts officiating; with interment in Hopewell Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m.
Hanceville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Helms passed away on Monday, January 5, 2015 at Cullman Regional Medical Center.
He was born on January 17, 1947 in Hanceville to Charlie & Mary Martin Helms and is preceded in death by his parents; a grandson, Walker Gage LaRue; and two brothers, Bobby and Kenneth Helms.
He is survived by two daughters, Melissa (Kevin) LaRue and Kimberly (Ryan) Lambert; two grandchildren, Ashley and Taylor Pattillo; a sister, Charlene (Jerry) Abbott; and two brothers, Steve (Pat) Helms and Frank Eskew.
