Ledbetter (8-4) persevered through the tragedy and tossed a three-hit gem, punching out 13 batters in the extra-inning affair. Ledbetter has pitched 14 consecutive scoreless innings in conference action.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with Brittany’s family during this time. The family lost everything they’ve worked so hard for. We are thankful no one was hurt,” A.J. Daugherty said. “Brittany was lights out against Snead State. Considering all of the exterior things going on right now, softball is an escape for her right now and gives her a sense of normalcy.”
