Marlin “Ellis” Goodwin, age 86, of Cullman, Alabama passed away on Monday, February 24, 2025.
Ellis is survived by his daughter Debbie (Larry) Alston; and his son Ken Goodwin; his brother Terry (Cheryl) Goodwin; his sisters Patricia (Wayne) Cole; and Delilah McCoy, his grandchildren Joy (Brandon) Womack; and Jordan Alston and his great grandchildren Mattie (Grant) Rice and Bailey Womack.
Ellis was preceded in death by his wife Mary Goodwin; his parents Marlin & Stella Goodwin; his sister Elizabeth Goodwin; his brothers Frank Goodwin; Jerry Goodwin; and Tommy Goodwin.
A visitation for Ellis will be held Wednesday, February 26, 2025 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Moss-Service Funeral Home, 1901 2nd Avenue, N.W., Cullman, Alabama 35055. Following the visitation will be a a celebration of life funeral service at 2 p.m.
Marlin will be laid to rest in Bethany Baptist Cemetery, 1612 CR-201, Crane Hill, AL 35053.
