WALTER, Ala. – Walter Baptist Church will host a “Covered with Love” Women’s Day conference on Sunday, Feb. 2, from 2-4 p.m.
Church member Nina Ellard said she was inspired by God to celebrate as women what God has done in our past through our heritage.
“What He is calling us to do now is our present,” Ellard said. “What He will do is our future. We will have inspirational speakers for our Women’s Day event also. We know God is the one who ultimately covered us with His love, and we want to share that.”
Ellard said women are asked to bring their favorite quilt, blanket or afghan that is special to them.
Light refreshments will be served and there is no cost for the event.
