CULLMAN, Ala. — The North Alabama Agriplex is opening its doors to the community on Saturday, Jan. 18, from 1-3 p.m. Visitors of all ages are encouraged to visit the property to discover the past, present and future of all things related to agriculture. There is no registration and the event is free. Just stop in and say hello!

The open house is designed for everyone who wants to know more about:

  • This year’s programming
  • Volunteer opportunities with the Agriplex
  • Agriplex animals; gain insight on raising backyard goats, chickens, rabbits, worms or vinegaroons
  • Agriplex apiaries and visit our beekeeper

It will also include information on surrounding plant life and operational systems including irrigation, rainwater collection and solar panels, to name a few. Attendees can participate in a garden make n’ take activity, visit Peinhardt Farm’s Red Hill Schoolhouse and learn about the Agriplex construction project.

The North Alabama Agriplex’s mission statement is “Preserving Agricultural Heritage, Educating and Feeding Our Neighbors Growing a Sustainable Future.” We invite you to join us to find out what that means to us.
