‘Their Christmas cheer brightened our day’

CULLMAN, Ala. – Special visitors from the Margaret Jean Jones Center delivered a Christmas basket to the United Way of Cullman County on Thursday, Dec. 19.

UWCC Marketing Assistant Morgan Dingler shared, “We were thrilled to see the Margaret Jean Jones Center visitors Thursday. Their Christmas cheer brightened our day, and we’re so grateful for their thoughtful gifts. They brought everything we needed to make some delicious hot chocolate — hot chocolate mix, marshmallows, chocolate spoons and even some candies. We can’t wait to enjoy these festive treats.”

The Margaret Jean Jones Center is a nonprofit organization that serves the developmentally disabled population in Cullman County. It offers day services, residential services, early intervention services for babies from birth to 3 years of age, a DHR-certified daycare for children 6 weeks to 5 years old, a summer program for school-aged children with disabilities and a work center.
