FAIRVIEW, Ala. – Fairview Elementary School is holding its Winter Coat and Shoe Drive. Donations will be collected through Dec. 19, and distributed Dec. 20.
Assistant Principal Robert Strane said this is the second time the school has held the event
“The first time we were able to do this was back in 2018,” he said. “We had planned to do it again in 2020, but COVID hit and we were unable to. With this drive, we are looking for new and gently used coats and shoes.”
Donations can be dropped off during school hours at the elementary school office through Dec. 19.
Donations will be distributed to any community member in need on Dec. 20, from 2-6 p.m. in the K1 building.
