HANCEVILLE, Ala. – Hanceville Parks and Recreation will host a free community movie night on Saturday, Dec. 7, at 6 p.m. at the Hanceville Civic Center. The featured film, “The Grinch” (2018), will be shown on a 20-foot inflatable screen.

Attendees are encouraged to bring chairs and blankets for seating. Popcorn, hot chocolate and soft drinks will be available for purchase during the event.

“We wanted to do something special for the community, and a movie night felt like the perfect way to bring families and friends together,” said David Wasilewski, director of Hanceville Parks and Recreation. “Hosting it indoors means families won’t have to worry about the cold, and the civic center will be decorated for Christmas atmosphere to make the evening even more memorable.”

The Hanceville Civic Center is located at 902 Commercial St. NE. For more information, contact David Wasilewski at parkdirector@cityofhanceville.net or visit the City of Hanceville Parks and Recreation Facebook page.
